TLK Engineering LLC is a Louisiana-based civil engineering firm established in April 2023 by Timothy Kay Jr., P.E., a licensed Professional Engineer since 2012. With over 20 years of hands-on experience in the engineering industry, Timothy's extensive background includes both design and leadership roles across major engineering firms and global construction teams and brings a deep understanding of residential and commercial design ranging from site layouts and infrastructure to structural systems and forensics engineering including field inspections, repair recommendations and insurance claim support with over 250 inspections completed supporting clients across the state.

Timothy holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s in engineering management, and remains an active member of organizations such as the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), and the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). He is also an Associate Member of the National Academy of Forensics Engineers (NAFE) and is an active board member for the Construction Industry Institute (CII). As a lifelong resident of Houma, Louisiana, he is deeply invested in the community, contributing to the region’s development through projects that reflect both engineering excellence and local commitment.
